We'll
visit the savannas south of Omboué to observe the breeding colonies of
the African River Martin, Rosy Bee-eater, Grey-rumped Swallow, and look for Buttonquails,
Long-legged Pipit, Forbes's Plover, and Black-chinned Quailfinch.
At the
edge of the adjoining forest and in marshy forest, we'll search for the Black-headed
Bee-eater. At Omboué, we'll look for the Loango Weaver, the common
Carmelite Sunbird and Reichenbach's Sunbird, and, we should see some remarkable
gatherings of the Grey Pratincole as it nears the end of its breeding season. |
