Birdwatching Tours - Excursion #1: Omboué & Environs
Excursion # 1 - Omboué & Environs: Daily (September - November)
Time of Departure: 6.30 a.m.
Mode of Transport: 4 X 4 & Walking

We'll visit the savannas south of Omboué to observe the breeding colonies of the African River Martin, Rosy Bee-eater, Grey-rumped Swallow, and look for Buttonquails, Long-legged Pipit, Forbes's Plover, and Black-chinned Quailfinch.

At the edge of the adjoining forest and in marshy forest, we'll search for the Black-headed Bee-eater.

At Omboué, we'll look for the Loango Weaver, the common Carmelite Sunbird and Reichenbach's Sunbird, and, we should see some remarkable gatherings of the Grey Pratincole as it nears the end of its breeding season.
